I want to buy a OBD2 datalogger to find out about fuel consumption, performance data eg. hp/tq and such, and that can be hooked up to a laptop - FE data in daily use and performance data on track days
. Most of these should already handle CEL and DTC so I'm not too concerned. My car is a 99 Corolla which should talk ISO9141 if I'm not mistaken. However, CAN support is a plus. This is

I did some research and what posted in the poll are top candidates, at least easily available candidates.
I have a tablet PC with USB and a 11yr+ vintage laptop with serial port. Even have a Palm M105 stuffed away somewhere.
I want my software to come with the hardware. There's no way I'll buy just the software.
My goal is to buy just one unit that can do it all.
