Interior Roof Fabric Sagging

Whats the best way to prevent and repair sagging roof Fabric? I just got my 98 corolla and its starting to come down on the passenger side. I was thinking of putting some kind of tacks into the ceiling for extra support and just arrange them so they don't look tacky.

Tacks are a good enough solution short-term. But you are probably eventually going to want to cut out the fabric and re-adhere it. Or get new upholstery and adhere it. If you take off the old fabric though and it's not in good shape, you need a wire brush or something to scrub off the material still sticking to the top.
