Purchased new in Feb 07 from dealer. First Toyota ever, now 3 1/2 years old and plan on keeping it for a long time. So far the only thing I've had to do is scheduled maintenance, alignment and tires. Still original brakes 31k miles
I've only owned my "La Maquina Verde" - a 2000 Rolla - since last August but my sister bought it new in March 2000.
My first car was a 1992 Rolla that my mom had bought in 1991, I drove it from 1999 to 2001 and again in 2003. In btw I drove a sporty Oldsmobile Acheiva that self destructed after reaching 150,000 miles. It was only an 8 yr old car!
I've own my 1996 Corolla since June 18, 2005 when I got my full drivers license (and it's my b-day) and my parents passed down to me. My parents owned since new and bought the car on June 16, 1996.
My previous 94 DX... I owned for 4 years. I was the 2nd owner of that car too. Before me my grandma drove it for 12 years. I was riding around in that car when I was 6 years old, and 13 years later, I was the one driving it.

My parents bought my 93' Corolla in July 92' and used it until they gave it to my one brother sometime in the late 90's, then he gave it to my other brother, who then got his own car and gave it back to my parents around 06'. My Dad just drove it once or twice a month to keep it running as he has his own car and so does my mom, so nobody would really use it. Then this past April I got my license and got it from em' :P She's only got 146k on her (It was at 127k when I got it 3 months ago xD ), so I'm hoping she will last me a lot longer.
