Where do you keep your phone?

For anyone who use the AUX IN and a uses a phone as a MP3 player, have you found a good place to mount your phone without using tape or sticking it to the window?

I really don't see a way to stick it to the dash thouse little window mount car kits don't stick to it.

I'm always surprised that people do this, use their phone for their music too. I know that phones can do this but I find it a hassle to deal with that way, much easier to just leave my iPod in the center console & always hooked up. Buying a dedicated iPod for your cars music is cheaper than many of these holders cost that just attract the attention of thieves.

I leave my music on my phone so I dont have to buy an MP3 player, I have it everywhere I go, and don't have to worry about ANOTHER device.

What I love about having another device, in this case an iPod, is that I don't have to worry about it. I just get in the car & go & my music starts to play. It's nice not having to hook up my phone & deal with the hassle of it along with the headache of a contraption to hold it. I like to keep it simple, the K.I.S.S. method.

On that note, I have a Nokia N8 with a FM transmitter. I do not use it as my SD and USB on my car unit have all the video clips and mp3 I need. If I have to I can set the N8 to transmit FM signal to my car radio when I set the radio to receive it and play through my speakers. I just leave my phone in my pocket.

You're so funny. I don't care if it says Apple or not, but most everything is made for an iPod & they work better than any other MP3 player or phone that I've ever seen or tried. I figure that an iPod is like Toyota, number one for a reason.

I need my device handy because i switch between different music at stop lights. I could just make a play list but always want some other music to hear.

I spend a total of 2hrs 20min a day just going to work and home so i need music!

Did you hear the news today? There's an explosion in "Foxconn" (sp) in China. They are the ones that makes products for Apple.
This has nothing to do with Apple products but will sure delay their production.

I just leave my phone in my pocket since I can control my music & phone through my HU. I have total control of my music at my finger tips.

Congratulations to your daughter's graduation. What is she going for further studies?
Is'nt this the time Daddy's hair starts to turn white and recedes? ha ha.
