AE86

hey im new on here anyways im building a 7age 1.8 heres what i have so far
ae86 corolla
7afe bottom end
4age big port top end
spool connecting rods
port and polish head
bored .030
over sized pistons .030
metal head gasket off the top of my head i believe its .6
arb bearings
4age big port ecu till i save up for a mega squirt or something of that sort.
5 speed
also will be doing a wire tuck
full spool in rear end if that makes a difference

what should i expect for power and torque? i have a bad feeling that im going to regret keeping it n/a but if its that bad ill pull it back out and redo the top end.

thanks for any responses

how much will this compair to my stock 4age big port that i originally ran

off the top of my head (no pun intended), I would recommend a smallport non-tvis head instead of a bigport if you plan on an N/A "street" build. also, the stock ECU won't do much, but you've already surmised that.

you'll gain some torque going your bigport route, but power gain will be rather minimal, and your engine wont rev quite as high or as smoothly as the 4A did. you could also get your pistons and conrods balanced, if you haven't done that already. beyond that, the smallport head, cams, cam gears, maybe a 60mm throttle body off of a 7M supra would help too (can fit, requires custom thorttle cable) and you could see 160 hp or so, but thats an optomistic claim... and obviously you would need a standalone to do your fuel for something like this
