my 07 CE was built in japan.
all the corolla verso models are built in turkey for the whole european market.this model is neat i saw one in turkey. it seats 7 it can come from the factory with pushbutton start and rear headrest video monitors.this vehicle is rumored to be coming to the states maybe in 2010.check worldcarfans,or the england toyota site for more info.

the old corollas were pretty neat in my opinion. i just didnt like the new ones..the fact that they sat so high.

What an interesting history! They do still make the Toyota Corolla in Takaoka, Japan. They've sure gotten more luxurious since my son bought his '99 model. It has a tough transmission, that's for sure.

Came across Japanese web site, you can click on pictures and license plate will show year in production. also it has pictures of emblems, some picture you can see interior and an old engine, too.
