I guess 1 or 2 should be enough. I seen cans of R134 for $6 in any walmart in US, and like $13 for retrofit kit and same for pump. Infact my brother was telling me, back in times, R12 used to be available for 99 cents a can.

Do a better job at reading. The company isn't saying you need to buy by the case. They mention a refill kit. Flushing R12 in order to add 134 is fraught with problems. But in your case go ahead and see what happens.
