The Tahoe has either a 4.8L or 5.3L engine. The 4.8L hasn't been rated by the EPA. The 5.3 is rated 16 mpg city/22 mpg highway. (15/20 for the 4x4) If the engine is E-85 compatible, then the ratings fall to 16/21 for the 4x2 and go up to 15/21 for the 4x4. If the engine is actually running on E85, then the ratings fall further to 12/16 for the 4x2 and 11/15 for the 4x4.
