Damn sorry to hear about your loss. Same sorta shit happens to ALL classic cars, the insurance company doesn't see the street value but only the book. My friend's 95 RX-7 (SUPER RARE) got stolen 2 yrs ago and I'm pretty sure that the insurance company only gave him, at most, half of what the car is really worth.
Anyways, I don't want to sound like a leech and no offense, but if the car is a write off and you're gonna part it out, I'm totally willing to help you cover your losses and buy some parts from you, just give me a PM. I live just up Kipling and I know the area you're talking about.
