I choose KYB over Tokico based on personal preference and great feedback from the members of Newcelica.org, which is why my Celica is running on Adjustable KYB AGX. From what I read, Tokico shocks only perform their best when paired with Tokico springs, with most of their springs only providing a 1.25" drop. It even says it on their website.
