Get him a GS400 or GS430...the GS300 is severely underpowered and he won't enjoy it coming from a 325i. The car is heavy and has a weak engine. Get the V8. Other than that, its a nice luxury ride and the V8s have plenty of power and the handling can be made better with a few modifications.

Have you looked into an IS300?
