Ren, it's a good thing that you replaced your battery. If you run on a low battery chronically you'll blow your rectifier and possibly take other components with it.
For the reasons stated by Ren I take my 4AGE in to get the oil changed as well. I can hear the cries of anguish and the smell of burnt flesh followed by 'get the claw!' comments. As for the Mr. Lube at Painted Post, the last time I went in for a change they wanted to spray water on my exhaust manifold to cool it
Needless to say I have never gone back. I notice that it is no longer a Mr. Lube. They charge too much in my opinion anyway.
