You can get a TCH for under sticker. Just go to a dealer who has the config that you want IN stock and see the fleet manager directly. Start offering from $750 above invoice and hold your ground. Eventually you'll meet under sticker. Dealers in So. Cal. will generally give a bit off sticker -- but not much. The market is very formidable for this model. A dealer may want to make a quick sale if the car's config is in lower demand and hybrids are selling slower in a particular area of town. It's very dependant on your stubborness and willingness to walk away from your top-choice car. You gotta make the dealer sweat a bit, but you need to take a risk too. By all means, if you want the car, pay the dealer's price. But negotiate if you are in no hurry and have other dealers and car choices lined up. Show 'em you've shopped around and are prepared to go elsewhere. Can't hurt!
