If it's auto don't forget the d*** PARK/Safety switch on top of the lock cylinders sometimes the cable hangs up and keeps that thing from allowing proper alignment to the cyl. Whenever I'm around digging in there I disable them by making sure they're all the way up and use #9 Kliens on the cable.
