Short TE1 & E1 in either of the two diagnostics ports (DLC1 = Engine bay, passangers side, behind the wheel well, or DLC2 = tucked under the steering wheel off to the driver's side some)
When you turn the key to ON, it'll flash any stored codes. i.e. 1-3, 5-2, 6-9, (yeah!)

AutoZone by me has OBDI scanners...they've read my code on my 1994 Lexus when I had a CEL light (emissions related, bad charcoal canister).
