the type of oil you need is on the transmission fluid dipstick.

Dexron *sp II or III should be what you need.

If your car requires dextron III you have to use III, but if it requires II then you can use either III or II.

Oh yeah, sometimes flushing ATF will cause your transmission to slip and take a shit. So as a cautionary statement. "Don't fix if it ain't broke on Automatic transmissions"
