You don't have to rewire anything! If your car has a built in Amp, all you have to do is probably just buy a wiring harness and it will take care of the factory amo for you (The factory Amp will still work).

This CD player that you buy doesn't have to go with the car, you can always take it out and plug back the factory one and sell it with the car, an aftermarket deck is not lost money, you can carry it onto your next car, that's why I always encourage friends to buy the top of the line and save themselves money in the future...
