But one of the few war veterans of the GW Bush cabinet, General Colin
Powell, praised the Clinton agreement
" The previous administration I give great credit to for freezing
that plutonium site," he said. "Lots of nuclear weapons were
not made because of the Agreed Framework and the work of
President Clinton and his team."
OTOH Donald Rumsfeld worked as a lobbyist for the Swiss power plant
construction firm ABB, which built the nuclear reactors for North Korea
(Fortune, 4/28/2003, "Rummy's North Korea Connection").
