You might aswell start with one. I mean you buy it. You can tune it yourself easy enough.
It's not going to add just boatloads of power on it's own, but neither is any other intake / exhaust "ish" mod so. Think of it as paying a few hundred bucks to begin with, and getting free power later on as you continue to upgrade it.
