Like Ren said, Pioneer isn't the greatest quality anymore, and you really want to stay away from Sony (trust me), JVC is known for faulty screens and displays. So, I would highly recommend four brand names:
Kenwood, Alpine, Clarion, Eclipse
Kenwood is pretty affordable and it's great quality, very old decks are still being installed in cars with no problems what-so-ever.
The three others are expensive compared to everything else on the market, but remember "You get your money's worth" with these 4 decks..
