Does it have outside mirrors on both sides, and some sort of a
convex mirror ("Objects appear smaller..." or a stick-on spot) on the
right side? If it doesn't, might think about adding one.

I've been driving big things with restricted rear and side vision
for so long it's second nature - you just have to get used to it.

I had to beat it through The Boss's head - the next time he
surprises me with a Van, get one with a window in the sliding door.
(What part of "Utility Bed Truck" did you fail to understand?...)

The back doors can be solid (no glass) and I won't miss it, but
trying to make a left turn at an acute angle (not 90-degrees)
intersection is a pain. You have to get up to the limit line and turn
cockeyed to the side road, so you are parallel to the main highway to
see oncoming traffic on both sides at once.

It shouldn't be /that/ bad on an xA unless the back is chock full of
<stuff>, but file that trick away for future reference.
