Less than a year ago, some idiot hit and run my ride on a grocery store park garage. No cameras available to identify. Cost me around the same as my deductible to fix it properly so came out of my pocket.
and tonight after work I found this : :crying::gaah:
same thing, no note, nothing just hit and run, this one looks worst than the previous one, I was thinking to get a dash camera over the weekend but I hesitate too much. Now I'm going to.
I currently only have the single channel DR600G. Absolutely love it. Tons of features. My favorite is the built in Wi-Fi. Just turn it on, connect your phone, and you can download footage via the Blackvue App straight to you phone. There's also an accelerometer in it. That way, when your car gets hit, the camera will sense it and make a separate file flagging it. This will make it handy to identify when your car gets hit. It also has a motion sensor on it. When it detects movement, it will start recording. That way you won't use up all of your memory card in one night. Here are some of my clips.

I'm really sorry about what happened to you! I get furious if I see that someone dinged my car from being stupid when they opened their doors but if anything like that had happened to me, I don't know what I would do. It's even worse that it's on the quarter panel but I'm sure it will end up being fixed. Hope everything works out.
I don't think so, Florida is full of stupid drivers, one time I saw 2 girls backing up at the same time with the collision alarm beeping full and they crash.
I have a quote for $1850, we're I took it last time I think is too stiff, I'm going to get a second opinion, after I cleaned doesn't look that bad, still there's need for body shop on the door and the quarter panel, but I'm going on vacations next week, so I have to wait a little more :crying:
Is ready for painting, I had such a busy month but well, hopefully no more drawbacks and start on my drum to disc conversion, I was having the 6 year old itch to change my ride but if I keep pouring money into it that would make me think twice
So what are you doing for the disc conversion? Where are you getting the parts from? We need to figure out the easiest and best way to do this conversion so that others can do this too!
Yeah after seeing this car in person, the scratch was impossible to see at all! I'm glad the fix worked out very well.
Everytime I park at work I park all the way to the end of my lot. I like to think that since only 1 person can park next to me on my right, it cuts the chance of a scratch down by 50% since there's no parking space to my left. lol
Parking in grocery stores though... Even if i have to park all the way at the back, I do it just in case.
