2009 Corolla S - Removal of Driver Side Door Panel

My Driver's Side Mirror was damaged during the recent tornado in Queens NY. Can someone tell me how to remove the inner door panel so I can replace the mirror assembly (Heated Power Mirror - 2009 Toyota Corolla S).

Is there a replecement mirror (not from the dealer) that someone can recommend. I see some advertised as "unpainted" and some as "black". They sell for about $71.00 $86.00. My Corolla is Magnetic Metallic Gray.

^^^^

Goood DIY to show how to remove it.

EDIT:

Didn't find any painted/unpainted ones on eBay, maybe you can try a harder search

You can try Magauto

http://toyota.magauto.com/partlocato...layCatalogid=0

This link shows what parts you need for the mirror. Its cheaper than buying from the dealership

hey thanks...I assume that to take the panel off, I can stop after Step 3 without the need to remove the door handle in order to just change the heated drivers side mirror.

Thanks, as for ordering the mirror, I chose to buy from an autoparts store where I can get the entire thing for about $70.00. What I can then do is just order the back cover from the magauto link in the color that I need it.
