hb big is 2009 corolla compard to older camerys

what camery model does the new 2009 corolla compare in length, width and interior space. I thing the camerys now are to big and the corollas are now becomming the size of the old camerys, which I like. Try do drive on narrow roads with big cars.

Not sure about size, but it definitely weighs pretty close to the 1997 - 2001 Camry (3000 - 3100 lbs).

If you check the new Corolla XRS specs, it is somewhere in the 2850 - 2880 lbs region while the Matrix XRS is close to 3000 lbs.

The 2002 to 2008 models were slightly smaller than a Gen 2 Camry so I reckon the new ones are about the same size as a Gen 2 Camry.

I thought they just maximized the interior for more room and made the car wider, I didn't realize they made it longer. I thought it was the same length as the 9th gen. It just looks longer cause the roofline is lower and the car has a lower stance to it, like the Camry. The new Camry although utilized for better space is the same demesions as the previous gen from my understanding. Also they made the current Camry wider but the length is the same as the previous gen, so I wonder if they did the same for the Rolla as well.
