You can get some nice BBS or Volk forged 18s and you could see some improvement due to light weight.

There was some guy in the Camry forums that put huge tires on stock rims on his Gen 4 to increase MPG and I think it worked.

The FamiliyCar.com review says the 4-speed automatic drives like it needs to be upshifted one more gear into overdrive when you're at highway speeds.
I would agree with FamilyCar.com and what people are saying here. I have a Corolla S (2009) and just took it out on the highway the other day. When I reached about 120km/h the revs were up around 3k and I was waiting for it to drop, but it didn't. It is difficult to get used to, because in my opinion, with driving both stick and auto, the engine hum was symptomatic of a need for a change in gear.

Try driving an AE86, haha. In my 86 at 125'ish km/h I'm doing like 4500rpm.
