I think I hear some rattles, but I couldn't make out any squeeks.

Lets wait and see what owners on this board say of their experiences.

Why am I not surprise. Toyota quality is getting really bad. I've driven many generations of Corolla. I have to admit.. the 7th gen is the best built. I'm not impress with 8th and 9th gen. 6th gen is much better too.
I would assume the 10th gen would be the same quality as the 5th gen. Toyota's new slogan should be Moving Backwards.

I couldn't really hear anything. I really expect my new Corolla will be such a change from my '93 Camry that it'll be like sitting in a library. If it doesn't make a few noises, I'll probably think something's wrong.

My 09 XRS is nice and quiet, haven't noticed any rattles like in the video at all. I've put about 250 miles on it since I got it, I love how quiet it is.

(Seems a lot more solid than the 9th Gen, though I'll agree, the 7th Gen is definitely the bread and butter of high quality modern Corollas)

So are you trying to say Toyota's quality continues to decline? The facts say otherwise. As of right now, Toyota quality continues to go up after a quality low point for Toyota in 2005-2006.

I don't notice any noises on mine... maybe a little... but that's normal... for a car that's economical. If you want dead silence, you get something that's higher in level and price like the Camry or a Mercedes Benz.

Hopefully you're right and I'm wrong. Honesly, I would still prefer Toyota over any other brand.

Toyota is still known for its quality. Have you seen the Top Gear episode where they tried to destroy a Toyota pick-up and it just wouldn't die? Look it up at YouTube.

I don't understand why a lot of people keep on hitting on Toyota. I've seen reviews killing the 2009 Corolla. I own that car and I can honestly say that it is NOT crap!

Sorry- didn't hear any squeaks or rattles, just wind noise. I did hear the blood curling screams in the background of the pedestrian they hit-skipped while filming

first of all it was really hard to tell the rattling in the video...i bought a carolla S and there is no rattling what so ever and it is alot quieter then the 9th generation. the new one drives like a nice mid-sized car...and the 9th gen as far as im concerned is a rattle trap

Everytime the camera moves to about the upper middle of the dash (near the drivers air vent), you can hear the creaking sound that sounds like a Geiger counter.

Sounds like this http://molaire1.club.fr/geiger.wav

I can hear it pretty clearly. Maybe your speakers aren't turned up loud enough.
