Whatever happened to their One rate pricing huh, with no haggling?
Stopped happening early last year IIRC.

Anyways, I'm in BC and as someone as previously stated, they don't like to move on MSRP here. I was offered $300 off MSRP which is really only off 1%, and this is coming directly from sales manager making a big deal about it.

Its kind of disheartening to hear about the better discounts being had over in the east. Anyone purchase a corolla in the west with deeper discounts? I'd love to have a talk with your salesman.
Access Toyota's fixed pricing ended in 2004 or something but BC dealers still kept that going (*cough* collusion) but they don't usually give discounts unless it's a Toyota authorised discounts (i.e. from Toyota Canada). It always seems like they're doing you a favour by giving you $100 or $300 back (mostly cause if they don't sell to you, they'll sell to the next sucker that comes in).

Anyway, if you live out in the LF valley, I can see if I can hook you up with someone I know. PM me for more details.
