Canada Pro-Tech protection is a good thin to purchase or not

I am presently in the process of buying a new corolla 2009 LE and I wonder if the Pro-Tech protection is a good thin to purchase or not it is three stage protections …

First: Exterior Protection ($ 369.00 CAD purchase alone)

(The Pro-Tec Gloss Treatment will help preserve your vehicles exterior paint finish with a professionally applied protective polymer coating.)

Second: Interior Protection ($ 229.00 CAD purchase alone)

(First. A petroleum based treatment is applied to your interior fabric and carpet areas creating an invisible barrier against, common, stain-causing agents.)

(Second, a protective coating is applied to your leather and vinyl areas to create a sunscreen that helps prevent fading, cracking and discoloration caused by the sun’s damaging UV rays.)

Third: Rust Protection ($ 489.00 CAD purchase alone)

(First, the Surface Rust Treatment covers all painted sheet metal surfaces of your vehicle and will be warranted for five years against surface rust.)

(Second, the Rust-Through Treatment covers all painted sheet metal surfaces of your vehicle against rust-through damage (a hole in the metal) your investment will be warranted for five years.)

If I buy the three together it is ($ 789.00 CAD) …

Keep in mind I want to keep de cars for as long as it will work (ten year if possible)

Thanks.

Usually a way to put money in dealer's pockets. I'll keep mine waxed, use Scotchgard on the interior. The car should be rustproofed from the factory. If I do anything....it would be Z-Bart or something from the shop....not the dealer. IMO

Unless it comes with a Warranty, it is worthless.

Skip it all. I plan to keep my Corolla (personally or in the family) for 10 or 15 years. My trade-in was a '93 Camry we bought new without any of those extras. No rust problems. Interior wore, but wore well without a lot of special care. Paint was still shiney most places -- the rear bumper was starting to get a little dull.

The only way your car will rust is if you go through the 1) clear coat 2) top color coat 3) primer and 4) the anti rust base phosphate coat. The first 3 are sprayed on the 4th takes the car through a "bath". All are baked on.
So if you wax your car and retouch rock chips your paint will last for the life of the car.
