So far.. does the WHITE on the 2009 Corollas get dirty easy?

i'm really having a hard time deciding between white and grey 09 corolla S.

look wise, i think the white looks sligtly better than the grey, based on member's posted pics. but i hear that grey *should* show dirt and mainly traffic dust build up less than white. i did see one grey on the road once and it looks pretty dirty and it kinda shows. but i havent seen a white one

if you dont wash your car 3 weeks (how often i wash my current silver acura), would the white or the grey show more dust/dirt?

The thing that I've noticed with white cars is that you don't realize just how dirty they are until you start to wash them. It's tough to miss a spot when washing too. My Corolla picks up a lot of bugs on the front bumper and that's pretty noticeable. Splashes around the wheel wells show up pretty well too. But overall, I think it still looks pretty sharp even wearing a build-up of all-over road grime.

Our '02 Sienna is silver. I think it hides dirt pretty well. I hate to admit it, but it probably doesn't show dirt as much as my white Corolla, but I'd still take white over grey. I'm not sure I'd make the decision entirely on how much it's going to show dirt. The white is really sharp.

most people think white would show dirt the most but it shows it the least.i had blue , red ,silver but now i have 3 white cars.they hide dirt, fade less, cooler by reflecting heat, easier to match if painting is needed.i have had 7 white cars in all and you cant beat um.whats really cool about white is at night is it looks like it glowing compared to the rest.white all the way.

silver and grey are probably the best for dirt
white is good not to show swirls as much

i drove me new corolla like 70 miles during the day and had a blood bath of bugs, blood and guts show up great on super white!

long term its all about white

Typically the darker the car the dirtier it will look. White and even silver hide dirt pretty well. Black, charcoal and blue, not so much.

I find that silver hides dust and dirt better than white. But white hides scratches, scuffs and swirls more than anything else. White also looks alot sharper than silver.

Once you go white - you won't go back

All cars get dirty sooner or later. You will have to wash it. Don't you take a shower every day

White looks hot!

White is the way to go. It hides scratches the best. For my eyes, white also makes a car look big...and that is a good thing for the Corolla.
