Anyway, how are you liking your new toy and how would you compare it with your Civic?

Hey, I bought it from the Same Sales Person Tony. HAHA。 My situation was weird because when I first got the car, and I drove for 100KM and when I brake the whole car starts shaking and took it to the dealer. Guest what, 100km the transmission broke. Disappointed. But they say they will fix it and I wanted a new replacement and talked to the general manager, and he promiss to switch me a new Car. It was sigh of relieve. I don't feel good driving in a car that was broken 100km only. Overall it was good. Just did'nt like the acceleration between my civic and corolla.
The civic seems to accelerate faster at less RPM then the Corolla.
I bought the car in march but the process of the broken transmission car took a while before I really got the car. When I went to pick up my car in march, i saw a Blue XRS was also being pick up and I guest might be you.

That blue XRS was surely mine, heh...Tony is a nice guy to talk to...
Anyway, it really blows that your transmission broke @ 100km...Not sure if you read my other thread but my transmission started to have downshift flare @ 300km. I took the car back to the dealer several times and they contacted Toyota Canada as well regarding my issue. After several visits and calls, they agreed to replace my transmission with a new one...So they did and now I'm a happy camper.
However, I felt disappointed @ the same time because I didn't expect to have transmission problem from a new Toyota...
Oh by the way, how would you compare your 'rolla with your Civic in terms of handling? Also, do you feel that the Civic performs better than the 'rolla?
imEric, on the manual mode , does your engine match the rev when you downshift in the middle of the coroner? sort of like heel and toe?
How do you think the customer service of Markville Toyota .. Sales/Service?
I haven't used the manual mode much but I can test it out for you. However, I don't quite get what you meant by heel and toe.
My experience @ Markville Toyota has been a positive one. Shuttle service is great; service advisory (Tim Lo) has been really good to me. Oh it also helps to have a good looking female CSR (Rachel) As for sales, I purchased my car from Tony and he has been really nice with me as well. In the past I have bought a car from Richmond Hill Toyota but their service there wasn't very good as compared with Markville Toyota.
