Taking Delivery Tomorrow

Hello everyone, I'm new to carolla, but not new to Toyota Nation. My ex-husband helped me finance an '08 camry back in Janruary. Now we're going through a divorce and the camry is in his name and he threatened me the other night to take it back. So I decided to go looking around for a new car and see what I could get. As it turns out, I'm able to buy a new '09 Carolla S, and I'll be giving back the camry to my ex since it's just in his name and not affiliated with me at all. I take delivery tomorrow. It's charcoal grey with like 12 miles on it or so. I'm pretty excited, now there's just the daunting task of getting it insured, lol. I'm taking care of that currently so we'll see how everything plays out. If all goes well I'll be posting pics up of my new baby tomorrow.

Awesome color! That grey was my 2nd choice, but I'm very happy with white. Good luck on the other issue.....definitely more frustrating than buying a Toyota.

Q) Why are divorces so expensive?

A) Because their worth it!

LOL....If you knew my spouse you'd take the '09 carolla over him any day.

The camry I'm driving right now is white. That's why I didn't go with white again on the carolla. After a little while it can get boring, lol. Anyways.....I just got insurance on an '09 carolla through safe auto. So now all that's left is to go pick it up tomorrow at 1:00 pm. Maybe sooner though if my work will let me take an extra early lunch tomorrow. I hope sooner than later, because the insurance is expired on the camry I got, so I hate driving it around knowing that if I wreck I'm up the creek without a paddle.

Okay so I got the carolla. I haven't signed the deal just yet, but I went over on my lunch break to do that and they were taking forever to get the papers worked up, so finally they just gave me the keys and said to come back after work to sign all the papers. We're doing 1,200 down instead of the 1,000 down. It's not that big of a deal since they're willing to hold my check 30 days.

I didn't get to get the charcoal grey unfortunately, it was already sold, so they gave me the black one on the show room floor instead. It's gorgeous all cleaned up. I know black is gonna show dirt like a mother, but they sure do look nice when you take the time to clean them up, the black also has a metallic tint to it so it does look a gun metal grey in some lights. I like the black now that I think about it. He looks like a little demon.

A friend walked around the front of my white S and said "he looks angry, what are you going to name it?" Since it's white and looks angry, I've been thinking I might call it Stay Puft.
