We have been searching for almost a month to find a Silver XRS. One was found in Dartmouth, NS but it had a hood deflector that we didn't want and it apparently is a Monday car so again, we weren't interested. I do have a dealership trying to locate one but so far nothing has come up and they are telling us it's at least a 3 to 3 1/2 month wait. I just can't believe that there isn't one out there somewhere in Canada. Has anyone seen any sitting on dealership lot?
from what I understand, there are not a lot XRS' sittings on Lots. And if they are, they are already sold, or are there primarily as demo cars. However, that is based on the dealerships I have been to. Plenty of CE, LE, & S though.
they should have it in stock right now at dealers. Can't be 3-4 months wait. Thats only for cars that don't have mass production where they have to place special order. Toyota they're keep producing cars. Where you located

I signed the paper work to purchase a white automatic 'S' model with sunroof on April 12 and I still haven't received it yet! From what I understand, because of the price drop (up here in Canada), there is quite a wait right now.

I'm hopeful to get it soon ...
I picked the same car except silver on April 23. Initially they told me 2-3 weeks wait but then I found out it wouldnt be built til June 23 (MONDAY!) and will take another 3-4 weeks for delivery since I'm in Alberta. So people on the west coast prob will wait a little longer. So basically 2-3 weeks wait turns into 2-3 months.
XRS will still be hard to get a hold of, but a bit better than the S since not many people will buy the XRS cuz of its price and gas prices. Had I gone with a XRS the wait time would have been reduced by 3 weeks.
I ordered my auto S a few weeks ago, and was told the build date is June 25. Luckily I only have to wait about 3-4 days after that to get it!! Can't wait!!
From what I've heard from my dealer, there will be a 2 month wait for any S or LE if you specify a color or trim, and a three month wait for any XRS. They simply do not stock XRS's and they are made to order. They can't make enough of the higher trim models.
When I bought my XRS, the dealership estimated it would be 8-10 weeks before there would be another one that I could compete for - besides the two or three he could find in the Maritimes.
I have seen three XRS's on Toyota lots and all of them have had the hood deflector.. is it something they just always put on them unless they are custom orders? I actually really like mine, offering some paint protection and I like the look of it

Your lucky because you live in Toronto. The Corolla gets built in Cambridge, which is only about an hour away.

No Toyotas ever come from the factory with the deflector, it's installed at the dealer.
Demand for Corolla XRS all transmissions is very high and no dealer has them in stock. If they do, they're already sold.
Waiting times right now are about 2-3 months.
Like they say, all good things come to those that wait. I ordered my new XRS April 15 and it's not being produced until WEDNESDAY June 4 - eta Toronto mid-June!

that is weird your wait is that long. I ordered my XRS on April 13, and it was at the dealership by May 7. Maybe your dealer didn't push as hard as he could have to get the order in.
