OK, it is time for me to go Corolla. I have been shopping around for weeks. Another long time forum member said to quit shopping around and just ask the folks here. Sooo, I registered about an hour ago, checked out all the great pics (lots of pages) on the 09 Corolla pics and am now starting what could be the biggest longest most instense thread yet... PRICING... It doesn't matter if its a base, XLE, S, XRS... or whatever 09 Corolla special edition, whatever, here's what we would like to see in this ORDER:
Trimline: Base, XLE, LE, S, XRS?
Major Options: auto, manual, leather etc
PRICE BEFORE TTL as this will differ from state to state.
Where purchased!
Let's make this the longest best thread on this site - this economy is hitting us all in all directions, if we can help each other save $$$, let's run with it and help one another out.

Reason: I said guys and females that are on this forum may not appreciate that so I changed it from Ok guys to OK
I messed up on the poll, please forgive me. Moderator, if you can help me - the goal was to set up the pricing for each respective trimline - I thought it would take me, after setting up each trimline, to another page asking for the variables (pricing). If there isn't a way to do this, please change question in pole from "How much did you pay" to "Which trimline did you buy" as that would be a cool statistic to know as well. Most importantly is what people are paying and where so others might benefit in this not-so-pleasant economy. Thanks! Dez
Hi There this is my first post I just got my Corolla S White Automatic with the Standard package like 2 weeks ago. I got it for 16700 before tax and license. The above price included the TFA and WFR fees.
I just came from a dealership in Canada, Ontario and was wondering what I should be looking to pay for a 2009 Toyota Corolla XRS 5 speed manual as a good deal. His initial offering was 25048 drive away without the vehicle etching. Thanks
16,900 for a base Red 09 Corolla LE w/ 6 disk CD in the southeast US. Sounds like Billy120 got a good deal. Mine was the best price I could get within 100 miles.
If anyone got a price that was WAY better start your reply with "Dont read this if you are sensitive to better deals" so I dont read it. Otherwise I might have a breakdown :-)

Howdy Folks, I posted on the get to know you part of the forum for my brief biography, glad to find you folks here, this is my first foreign car and I love it. My 09 Corolla base model automatic with heavy duty rear defroster and a nice set of floor mats and trunk mat cost my wife and I 15,599.00 before TTL with 2.9% interest for 60months. We bought it 4 weeks ago. That is here in Southern California. I don't know if that's a good deal or not these days. It is about 800 over invoice and about 700 below msrp I believe. The dealers around here aren't negotiating too much, these cars are in high demand right now.
My neighbor and good friend did a very cruel thing to me though, he is an employee of the auto group I purchased the vehicle at, (and I knew that, I just was not thinking at the time) and he asked my why I didn't come see him, cuz he could of given me a "Friends and Family" certificate for the purchase and I could of gotten the car at invoice or just below. Oh well. We are so happy with this lil car that my wife wants the Highlander next for her and the kids, I will hit my buddy up for the discount at that time to make up for it. Thanks for listinen.

Nice to have you here. I'm fairly new myself and just went by the dealer and saw my wifes car. I will be completing the transaction this week!! WOO HOO
Well as an employee at the auto group, he is a parts manager for the Chevy section of the group here locally where we live, he can give his "Friends and Family" certificates throughout the year for the special pricing. How the internal workings of the pricing work I don't know. At this particular group they have Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Chevy, Dodge, Ford, Chrysler and I am missing one or two I know. The discount is good at any of those dealers within the auto group.
