Canada What do you intend to add to your 09

In the very near future I intend to install "backup sensor".
Bought at ebay and waiting for arrival.
Bought a gps unit from "costco". Works great.

What I want to add to my 'rolla...

- HID projector housing
- new tires

That's about it...I did a lot of mods with my previous car but insurance company here is very strict about modified cars...

Already added:

New head unit
Replaced all speakers
Added XM satellite radio
Leather steering wheel cover
17" wheels and tires
Rear spoiler
Auto-dimming rearview mirror with temp and compass

I was going to add leather after having leather on my last 3 cars but I eventually decided that cloth is actually much more comfortable. One of my daughters teenage friends (whose family always had leather) remarked how comfortable and "soft" the seats were. Leather definitely looks better but I think I've been converted now that I've had time to live with cloth again in the Corolla.

I was also going to lower it with the new Eibach springs but they say they drop the front an inch and a half (2" in back) and I don't think I want it riding that low. If they had a set that would drop it 1 inch in back and a half inch in front I'd probably do it.

Cloth seats are definitely better. Cooler in hot weather and not so slippery.
My last car was a 535I fully loaded leather and all.

I am also interested in putting in oem toyota navi.
I would imagine it would be costly compared to the "Garmins".
Do you know the range of cost you would be incurring for this upgrade?

WONDER, Can you get an OEM NAV system in canada for 2009 Corolla? Or can you only get it by ordering from the state?

Wanted to get OEM but figured that the US one probably wouln't come loaded with Canadian Maps.
