Any black XRS?

Just bought an '09 black XRS, first one I had seen, fell in love as soon as I saw it. It arrived at the dealer Tues andd I bought it on Sat, can't wait until Tues when I pick it up.
Any other black ones out there?

Black 2009 Corolla XRS

I remember this thread from back when I was doing research on the car. I almost got a black too, but it was too prone to heating up like a stove under all the sun we get around here

Ya I just joined so I missed that thread. I actually thought I wanted blue, but when I saw the black I had to have it.
I've owned four Corollas previously but this one only has 4km on it, all my others had 200,000 plus! 30 plus years between the old ones and new one!

I just bought a black XRS 5spd MT in Buffalo, NY. The dealer had to go all the way to Pittsburgh PA to get it for me=)

I know of two Black Manual tranny XRS'es on dealer lots--one in Ottawa, ON, and one in Cornwall, ON. They are either not selling that well in that colour, or the dealers thought the black would sell best for XRS and ordered them, instead of the blue or the red ones.

I saw a black XRS back when I was checking out the car. It was noon, and the car was outside sitting in the sun. I touched the hood and nearly got burned. I touched the next darkest color (magnetic gray) and my hand got hot but it didn't burn.

I bought the gray one.

Garage or no, it takes about 5 minutes of driving in the Florida sun to turn the car into an oven. While I might be able to stand it, it wouldn't be very 'cool' if I were driving someone around in it.
