Canadian pricing for 09 Corolla LE Automatic

Has any one bought a 09 Corolla LE Automatic recently (Canadian Pricing). Can we negotiate below MRSP in Canada(how much), I live in Eastern Canada (Ontario) and plan to buy a LE soon. Any details on wait times is also appreciated. Thanks

I paid $26400. out the door for the LE / moonrof pkg, hood deflector, side window visors, block heater and 4 winter rims. Suppose to be in this week. Ordered it 2 weeks ago. Laking Toyota, Sudbury, Ontario

My LE cost C$19,900.00. In BC with all taxes and fees without insurance C$23,750.00. Free add-ons, rubber floor mats and window visors. It's the same as in Toyota.ca's webpage. Oh yes, a C$100.00 introduction bonus back.
I refused to buy the C$299.00 etching.

I paid cash.

Rep says they'll give more if they pays less for your trade-in just to make you happy.
I went to 5 dealers over 4 weeks and non of them budge.
Have to wait 10 days for my colour choice.

Back in March, deamnd for the 09's wasn't all that strong as they were offering very low financing rates on 08's and no one really knew about the 09 model yet anyway.

Even during that "not selling like hotcakes" period, you could knock $5-600 or so off, not much more. These cars don't have large margins.

Today, with the 09's selling well, forget getting much off. Toyota has no incentives (and why would they?) so every dollar off is one less of the dealer's margin.
