Rubber plugs

I found a package of rubber plugs of some sort inside the glove compartment of my 2009 Corolla LE. The package reads: TO PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTOR: INSERT THESE RUBBER PLUGS INTO THE HOLES OF THE CENTER FLOOR SIDE MEMBER EXTENSIONS. There's a diagram showing where they are supposed to go -- up under the car. Does anyone know how important these are? Should I return to the dealer and have them installed? Could I do it myself without much trouble? There are two of these things and the package says IMPORTANT.

You can do it easily - my dealer forgot when I got my '99 Corolla, and it took me about 2 minutes. You should put these in now. If you want, you could waste time by going to the dealer and getting the satisfaction of yelling at them about their poor pre-delivery.

Also, check your tire pressure.

You know, I have the same problem. But I have no idea where the plugs go. I went and looked under my car, but I can't seem to find the holes described in the diagram.

I have an XRS. Does that make a difference? Or does anyone have a more detailed diagram or something?
