To put Dana_15's mind at ease, I don't drive with my windows up and the A/C off in 95 degree summer heat. Nor do I honk at soccer moms in SUVs and challenge them to races with stare-downs. And finally, thank God, my wife didn't send me off to Modesto for the 4th of July while she went to the beach with an old flame from college.
I really am, however, the proud owner of a new Corolla. It's an automatic though and its horn isn't loud enough to attract much attention at stop lights even if I wanted to. But like the rest of you, I flex my muscles at the pumps now, not at lights.
What you deleted, Dana, was a bit of fun. But hey, I guess you're protecting someone out there. After all, we do live in an age where hair dryers come with a warning label telling us not to use them while in the shower.
But you should never edit other people's posts. That violates the trust been you and your community and is totally unacceptable.
Windows up or down A/C on or off only affects you and your occupants, no impact on anyone else really. That wasn't the problem with the thread. It was the premise of street racing that was the issue as it affects and can affect anyone on the street with you while its going on. Take it to the track to show your "prowess".

Now you say it's an automatic, in you're other posts you said you were still getting used to the clutch. Do you ever use your brain? Quite frankly I think we are all getting tired of your lies and stories of how you are going to kill yourself or some poor innocent family with your "street racing"

Street racing in any form is unacceptable.
Yes well, we wouldn't want anyone getting thrown to his death through the front windshield of a speeding premise.
I was never racing. You understand that by now, right?

Yeah, sure. I guess everyone else here was thrown off by your Post labled "Kill Stories" and their subsequent lengthy descriptions of "non racing" with SUVs, R32s, S4s and others in your corolla with its manual/automatic transmission with your "I shift mad quick yo skillz".
Is there anyone else having a tough time following this guy?

The mods and admins have the power to edit threads, delete threads, and ban the people who start bad threads... I guess you can call them the "police" of the forums.
Yes one day YOU WILL get caught by a police officer while doing one of your "kill runs" they will give you a ticket for speeding, careless driving, etc... so what will you tell the police officer? That he's violating your trust and yadda yadda yadda??
Welcome to the Internet, wake up and smell the rules.

Wrong. Read the forum rules that you agreed to abide by when you joined this site. Posts will be edited or deleted if they break the rules, street racing kills people. I have a family and I would not want some jerk who is street racing hurt or kill them in any way. Take it to the track.
Street racing is not condoned by ToyotaNation and never will be as long as I am around, I can guarantee you that.
And if you have an issue with myself or a Moderator feel free to use my PM box at anytime, no need to call me out.
Speaking of getting to know the internet and all, I'd suggest you mods read and understand that which you're moderating. The above proves you aren't doing this.
So to spell it out for you...again, I was never racing, never having "kill runs" (LOL the term is "kill stories"), and never putting anyone's life in danger unless someone had an aneurysm over my posts, which now seems entirely possible.
My posts were jokes. Something fun amid the sleepy debates over oil change intervals and factory radio swaps. Plenty of reputable car forums have 'em and somehow live to tell about it.
The fact that you believed a stitch of my crazy story, of driving out to Modesto with my A/C off and raising hell with soccer moms in SUVs, should be a little embarrassing for you at this point.
And the forum rules can say anything you want. It's still not right to edit people's posts. Not ever. Delete them, fine. Edit them to make it looks as if a forum member said something he didn't? Not fine. Goodbye.

Your the one who is embarrassed, you don't even know if your car is an automatic or manual.
Your post was edited because it violated the rules, deal with it. I was giving you a break because your new here and obviously did not know that street reacing threads get edited and locked here, its common practice.
And if you must know, a valued member here told me about that thread in question, he wanted it locked as well...he was right.
