Tin can

Is it just me, or does the roof sound like a cheap tin can when it rains? Its more prominent when the sunshade of the moonroof is open but it still sounds cheap. My g/f's Gen9 CE doesnt sound this bad. Could they have forgot to put in sound deadening material in mine?

If they forgot yours... they forgot mine too. So I doubt it. :-)

Mine sounds like that too. Noticed mostly when sitting still. Don't notice it as bad when driving.

When sitting still sounds like a freakin hail storm. I thought I would have dings all over the roof from the rain.

But I do love the car.

The Corolla uses lighter-gauge metal than it did last generation.

I'm pretty sure that it was the same gauge of metal on the 8th gen too, I don't know about the earlier cars.

Over-all the 10th gen is a better design than the 9th gen in my opinion,in alot of ways it seems stronger.
