Toyota Canada satisfaction surveys?

Does anyone know if Toyota Canada mails out surveys after a vehicle purchase. I know the other guys do. There's a few things about my dealer experience that I would like to tell them. thanks.

At time of purchase my dealer told me that I would get a survey if I gave him my email address (so he could sent it to Toyota) otherwise they just mail them out randomly....

Gave him my email and still never got one...

If you do not receive one in a week or two just call up Toyota Canada ... they love hearing dealership stories

Usually dealership surveys from Toyota Canada. We don't keep track of when we get them but I know we've gotten several (we've bought 4 Toyotas in 11 yrs)

Dealer surveys are random, I think. If you don't get a survey, the dealer is lucky. Of course, the dealer will kiss your a** and tell you that if you are not totally satisfied, they will do everything in their power to make you so. Bad surveys mean bad CSI scores for the dealers, and CSI means a lot to Toyota because it will affect things important to a dealer such as allocation of popular models and warranty $$, etc.

my dealer went so far as to say "if you don't have anything good to say please don't send the survey back", and stuff and tried to butter it up

i specifically waited for the survey and went brutally honest about my bad experience, and of course i mentioned what they asked me to do

Toyota corporate is anal about CSI ... and so are the dealerships.

Overall I think it is a good thing. Along with OMVIC it cuts down on the scummary that is usually associated with walking into a car dealership.

Granted, sending in a condeming customer survey because the dealership wouldnt move much on price is a pretty scumbag move on the customers part and there is really nothing to put that in check. Oh well.
