Getting tinted tomorrow help me decide

I have know idea what % tint i should get for my Silver Sport.

I am getting my tints done at FX auto tint in markham.

Is it worth the extra $$$$$$$$$$$ to get ceramic tint.

Thanks

I tinted my window at Unique Tinting in scarborough. Mine was 35% all around. For you I recommend 35% in the front and 20% in the back depends on how dark you wanted. The total cost was $140

what types of tint does that shop carry? i would spend the extra $$ for ceramic tint...regular black tint doesn't block out too much heat...ceramic will block out a lot more heat while not being very dark. v-kool and huper optik are good brands for heat rejection. i have 70% vkool all around including the windshield and sunroof on my current car and it blocks out as much heat as my 20% tint. it's very expensive...i think i've spent over 800 bucks on those tint...not include the other 2 layers i put on afterwards (i got a total of 3 layers of tint lol) with the 70% you'll feel naked tho...i sure did that's why i had another layer on after a while...i feel absolutely no heat on my arms during 90+ degree days and i have my a/c on low most of the times =D

i would find out your state's legal limits and then choose....i got 35% all around cause i like the even look and the tints blend in so well with my magnetic grey

35% is the max you can get on the front driver/passenger windows LEGALLY... and the rear seats / rear window is limitless.

I tinted my windows with 35% all around on my red S with Formulaone "Pinnacle" ceramic tint. Looks great and supposedly has better heat rejection than dyed or metallic tints. Also no radio or GPS or phone interference problems. The total cost was about $175.

just got them done i went 20% all around i know it is illegal for the fronts but i dont care.

Its not too dark just perfect.

I will post picks once the tint glue cures

I paid $250.00 did not go for ceramic tints because they only come in 35% and 15% darkness and 15% all around would have been way too dark

if only i could find the kind of tint that they used to put on the lexus suv before. i really love that silvery metallic tint on those old lexus. black or gray or dark colored tint is so common already.

I didn't get any factory tint on mine. Just some Green Solar Shade film... It doesn't look bad... but i would have preferred a dark tint
