Anyone else having starting problems besides me?

OK 09 corolla S auto 2300 miles on it this has now happened to me twice. I will start the car it will hang like the starter is not disengaging it will eventually start or i can turn it off then it will start up fine is anyone else having this problem or was it a issue in the past corollas? This happened to me the first time a few days ago and they car is alrdy warmed up from driving it around town both times.

Not with mine. (2009 xls about to turn 1000 mi)
Suggest a trip to your dealer's shop...warantee.... ASAP so you do not get stuck

Probably something funky going on with the auto-start timing logic or something. Only the 1.8L models are equipped with it, so I haven't experienced anything like it, but I would definitely have it checked at a dealer.

This is a common problem on the 9th gen corolla...not sure if there was any solution for it.

09 corolla S here with 4400km now. dont have electrical or mechanical problems yet.
