Jacking Point at the Rear

where do you jack the 09 corolla at the rear end? it is not in the owner's manual.

My manual shows it to be just in front of the rear wheel well. Seam should be notched like the jacking point for the front wheel to accept the factory jack. I haven't personally looked yet but thats what the manual claims.

From the back, look at the area between the two wheels. There should be a metal bar running across with a bump on it.

what i meant was i want to jack the 09 corolla from the area under the rear bumper. is there a jacking point under there?

Just take a look under the car. There's a pinch-seam with a boxed area where you can raise the rear end using a floor jack. It's hard to miss as there's an illustration of the car being raised engraved into said jack point.

You can't jack from under the bumper. It's just a plastic cover with some foam and other impact absorbing material behind it.

Not sure if the Canadian owner's manuals differ but it's on page 308. That small adapter in the trunk should be used to raise the rear end

oh yes it is on page 308. now i can lift the car and remove the rear skirts. thanks man!!!
