each person leasing a car would get different rates. it all depends on your credit history and your capacity to pay (meaning your annual gross and net income).

Yes, the Corolla XRS is slow... so instead of getting it, I'll get the version that is even SLOWER.

That makes a lot of sense, haha.

i'm leasing my XRS but it is a company lease so i get it somewhat cheaper. also, i probably would be leasing an S instead with the way the fuel costs are, but unfortunately i'm stuck with my car until 2010.

Hey, at least Toyota still does the leasing thing. GM and Chrysler are bowing out of the leasing game this year. Who would've thought that flooding the market with cars that have hardly any end-of-lease resale value would come back to bite them...

Coming from driving a V6 Tacoma 4x4 I find the XRS to be great on gas, little over 30 mpg's, I always burn supreme to so maybe I am getting another couple mpg's or somthing... I drive over 800 km a week just going back and forth to work and will gladly take the oh so small hit in the pocket-book to have some passing power compared to the slugish 1.8 liter!

LOL civic si...
When will people learn that Civic's are not sports cars. I'd rather trust something that says DODGE on it. If you want a fast car, get the DODGE SRT-4... cheaper than the civic si, and out performs it EVERYWHERE with STOCK options. 300hp from the factory?!?! So, Civics aren't much better than a Corolla w/ the Si's 190HP and 139Torque... 30 more HP and 30 less Torque than the XRS. Mazdaspeed & SRT-4 are sports compacts cars... So Enough already about Civics.

aren't most of those "tuner cars" on the road Grandma cars in body kits with a loud exhaust? 1.6L I4 engines that look & sound impressive, but are still only pushing 120-140hp... Base model civics with an aftermarket pipe doesn't make it a sports car... nor does a shopping kart handle spoiler... LOL

if you haven't noticed I do not like Civics... , the brother-in-law is a civic-nut and claims performance out of his base model civic that has been lowered w/ a loud rice-can on the back.

You mean a Neon, right?

What a load of crap. Listen, which car will still be running in 4 or 5 years, huh? The Si would be a very fun and reliable drive, for many years. The Neon, SRT-4 will be blowing smoke, blowin up, or setting on the curb waiting for parts and money. Smell the coffee.

LOL! Considering the performance of the TSX over the past 120 days, you'd be $4000 poorer and the proud owner of a considerably slower S. Makes lots of sense to me.
