- Your driving style/position (sitting up straight, who drives like that, or relax).
- If you have the moonroof or not (difference of about 1").
Leg room is not really an issue since you can set your distance from the pedals and then adjust the telescopic (unless you've got tall passengers in the back).
I have the moonroof and you've got about 3.5" on me.
I keep a relax driving position, don't use the telescopic (all the way forward) and keep my seat pumped all the way to the floor. I have enough leg room (with some to spare for back passenger) and I've got about 2" of head clearance.
Although If I sit up straight, my head will touch the roof (the sliding moonroof cover part)... Keep in mind that the moonroof robs about 1" of clearance.
I'm 6' (Nikki's BF) and you'll be maxing it out ... no one in back seat behind you (unless their legless) and you'll be all the way back and angled back too (almost lying down).
I'd say you could drive it, but not in comfort for any great length of time.
I have the power moonroof in my xrs and am a shade over 6 feet, I have to keep the height adjustment on the drivers seat turned down almost all the way or I will hit my head, even with the height down I still smack my head on the ridge around the moonroof if I have my sunglasses up on my head which is often... OUCH!

I'm 6' and have relatively long legs. I have no issues at all with space in the car, however I do have the seat all the way back as far as it goes. I can adjust the seat height where ever I want without running out of headroom, and I keep the seat almost upright, with the steering wheel in about the middle of the telescopic range and as far down as it can with regard to tilt.
It's quite comfortable, but I can see someone taller than about 6'4" starting to have some problems, perhaps.
Well, I took it for a whirl today.. and it wasn't too much different than my Civic, although about an inch and a half less headroom which I'll chalk up partially to the sunroof. But not that tight of a squeeze. If I've been rollin' in an '02 Civic for 7 years, I can roll in a Corolla XRS for another 7.
And deposit has been paid.

I'm 6'3" ... is there enough headroom and legroom for me?
You need to just go sit in one yourself instead of asking all of us. For the record I'm 6' 2" with a 32" inseam and can sit/drive an "S" with a sunroof.
Like I just said, I did go sit in one, and I bought it, but thanks for your input.
I guess I am the lucky one. I am 5ft 7" and middle aged. I knew what CLASS of vehicle, just not which one that I wanted. Gas prices finally made my decision about class of car Much easier
I would say I am average build and weight. It is wierd but even if 2 autos have about the same spec, they just feel different to different folks. I have always found a reason NOT to want an economy car though. Funny, this time when I drove the 2009 Toyota rolla, it just felt good. It was quiet, decent pickup, comfortable ride and driver's position and all in all did not seem to have that economy car feel to it. I admit I was swayed by the high price of gas, but I simply did not expect what I got. Took 4.5 hrs, but I wound up buying it....and it's not like they had a bunch on the lot either! Lots of buyers, no cars, so I simply did not let those keys get far from my pocket during the coming ordeal> Buying a car is the pits....getting used to it is wierd....breaking it in is still fun!
6'4" 275 and i fit. took a 10 hour trip and not complaining. we didn't buy it for the spaciousness. we wanted mileage so something has to give. just have to duck my head to get in.
