I just put down a deposit on a 2009 XRS. Only thing to decide is whether to get a red or white....
Which is nicer, sexier, sleeker? (For a dude.)
Is red a chick magnet or a chick colour? (Salesperson told me most people buying red cars from him are guys.)
Which is easier to keep clean, and will look better in dirty, disgusting Canadian winters?
Finally, which would look better with dark tints (28%)?
Your answers will heavily influence my choice!

White would be my choice... but only because they don't offer a true red. My xB is silver... only because they do not offer a true red! Come to think of it...Silver does really show off the lines of a vehicle and looks really good with tinted windows. Maybe a third choice?
I got to choose between 17 silvers and one red, so.... I naturally got the red, and I LOVE it. I'm a female, so it wouldn't bother me if the red looked pink in different lights, which I haven't seen yet. But there hasn't been any sun, its been raining ever since I got the car.
I do think the white looks nice, and would look better than the red as far as tinting goes.
Hey, I had a white Tacoma for years, it was easy to keep clean, dust, pollen & salt didnt really show all that much, however it had to be kept waxed to prevent stains in the paint. I have a red XRS now and I like it, takes a great shine, but it does tend to show even a slight amount of dirt. Pics below, all rear windows are a 20% tint and the two front door windows are 50% tint (not quite legal but looks good).
PS: pics where taken at dusk
hope this helps yah out

Well I'm getting the white!
Had a deal made on the red since it was on the lot, but changed it to white ... and now have to pay an extra $200 to have them acquire it from another dealer (apparently they pay $500 to buy a car from another dealership).
Congrats on the white XRS... Between those colors, in my opinion, you picked the best (no offense to any "Barcelona" owners out ther but, for me, there's just something off about that red).
I've alway hated "White" cars, but the XRS was the only car that ever made me consider "white"... Looks really nice with dark tints...
BTW I'm not saying that because I own it.. Mine is Magnetic grey.
