09 Corolla S Ideas...

I've got a 2009 Magnetic Grey Corolla S 5-sped on order. It should be here in about a week. It's coming with the power pack, cruise, sunroof, factory nav, carpet mats, rear spoiler, and tint. I've made arrangements to have sport-style leather (perforated a la the Camry SE) with TRD embossed headrests installed when it gets in.

I've got a few other ideas but I wanted to glean some wisdom from the 'Rolla faithful before I shell out the $$$.

Has anyone heard of xD parts working with the 09 Corolla? I'm interested in the lowering springs and the exhaust. In the Gulf States region you can't get a 5-speed in the Xrs so I thought I'd try the next best thing and try to squeeze some extra juice from the 2ZR-FE.

I'm also thinking about the 18" TRD wheels in black.

Any thoughts...?

The 1.8L apparently has a new Intake system ready from Weapon-R... however, TRD has not released anything for the 09 rolla yet performance wise. Patience is the only thing that us 10th Gens can have. Eibach has 1.8L lowering springs, but not 2.4L (YET)... however I dont think there is an Exhaust system yet from TRD (not sure). And there are some LED tail lights on Ebay that look OK.

But it depends on if you want it to be all TRD or not.

TRD takes a little longer to get products out compared to other aftermarket brands.

Wait a bit longer and plenty of MODs will be available for you.

I got with my parts guy and it looks like the xD muffler and springs will work. I'm gonna give it a try in about a week so I guess we'll find out!

Anyone out there have pics of an 09 Corolla with black 18"s?
