Despite the coolness of LED compared to incandescent, there still is a major trade-off and it all comes down to $. You want to replace a $1-2 bulb with one that costs $8 and $24. It may last forever, is more responsive, be more vibration resistant and waterproof, but there are not many people that would pay so much more $ for something that doesn't look modded or upgrade in looks (because usually it it hidden behind a colored lens) or actual performance. Beware, some LED arrangements are such on these replacement bulbs that they don't perform as well as they could. Light emitted from the diode is usually directional, and if the reflectors within the light housing don't take advantage of this, they could perform a little worse than its equal incandescent. I think until the LEDs come down a little more in price, there are not many people that will be willing to fork over the $.
