Horn replacement

Anyone else sick of their pathetic, miserable little beep that the stock horn makes? I am. It sounds puny.

Can anyone suggest a good site for replacement horns that will fit on ours? Is there anything to watch out for when selecting a replacement? For example, I think the horn circuit is rated for 7.5A. Obviously you probably don't want a horn that might exceed that unless you can provide adequate power. Any help is appreciated.

Yeah - these horns are really unsafe on the highway. PIAA makes a horn set that should work - I don't recall the part number, but it's a dual note horn - two horns instead of just one, so you'd have to mount and wire a second horn. Someone on here has done it already.

OK, so they were Hella horns - part number 85115. It does have two horns though.

But I must admit that's a tempting install. I got mixed up with a large group of motorcyclists the other day and they were corking intersections and generally making a nuisance of themselves. I'd have written the check on the spot to have 152 dB of horn to blow at them.
