its not good for the trans. If you notice it will shift harder if you do it manually. Also, your in a corola with a 2ZZ-FE. You not going to get of the line much faster, if even at all. If u wanted a car with a manual shift you should have gotten a manual or a Camry V6 with sequential shift.

There isn't a 2ZZ-FE. Did you mean the 2ZR-FE?

once in a while it's all in good fun but i dont think u should do it consistently cause forcing ur engine to shift might shorten its life....i doubt it'll kill ur engine right away but down the road u might end up with a lot more problems than other owners

^Its actually the transmission, the engine doesn't really matter unless you are running to redline in every take off.

Just don't do it too much. Not good for the transmission.

ya i mean i really dont do it alot. ive done it like twice in the past 4 months ive had the car. i just wanted to know if it was seriously gunna damadge my trans.
